Where do they come from

How are cashews harvested?
Cashews originated in Brazil. However, today, the largest producers of cashews are Nigeria, Vietnam and India. Cashews grow on trees, in a tropical climate, and are actually the seed of a colorful fruit known as a cashew apple.

Storage Tips
Cashews can be stored in the pantry and should be consumed within a few weeks because their high oil content makes them perishable. Cashews can be kept in an airtight container for up to six months in the fridge, or for up to one year in the freezer.
